Micro-Kerf®

Micro-Kerf® is Total Saw Solutions' line of ultra-thin carbide-tipped saw blades, made in Phillips, Wisconsin. They are designed to reduce material waste and cutting resistance while delivering clean, accurate cuts. Available in 10" and 12" models with a nominal 1/16" kerf (actual .061" to .070", depending on the model).

Micro-Kerf® blades cut everything from glue-line rips to smooth crosscuts in hardwoods, softwoods, plywood, wood veneers, MDF, particleboard, and plastics. Their ultra-thin kerf removes less material than conventional thin-kerf and standard-kerf blades, which conserves valuable wood and reduces cutting resistance.

The 10" blades are designed for table saws. The 12" models are available for table saws, chop saws, miter saws, and sliding compound miter saws, depending on the model. Standard and Deep Cut versions are available: Deep Cut models cut up to 3-1/4" deep (10") or 4-1/4" deep (12"). Select models are also available with a -5° negative hook.

Their low cutting resistance makes Micro-Kerf® blades well suited to portable and lower-horsepower table saws as well as full-size woodworking machines. For best results, make sure your saw is properly aligned.

*Important: Micro-Kerf® blades are not intended for full-depth scoring. For normal through-cuts, make sure the carbide tips cut completely through the material. When making intentional partial-depth cuts, limit each pass to a maximum depth of 1-1/2" to help prevent excessive heat buildup.
